About this position
At YAGHMA, we assess the non-financial, non-technical aspects of new technologies in various fields to help our clients and research project partners make a positive impact on the world with their innovations. To stay on the forefront of the research on social, ethical, governmental, legal and environmental impacts, we participate in various European and International research projects where we assess non-technical, non-financial aspects of the innovative solutions proposed by the project partners. Currently our focus is AI Impact Assessment aspects in health, manufacturing, energy, and mobility fields.
We are seeking a senior-level Research Project Manager to lead our EU Project team, coordinating a dynamic portfolio of Horizon Europe and other EU-funded research and innovation projects. These initiatives span sectors such as bio-based industries, smart manufacturing, food systems, AI-health, and social sciences, and our role are often grounded in the transversal assessment of technologies—including their ethical, social, environmental, and regulatory implications- as well as development of digital tools to support the assessments.
The successful candidate will work across project teams to ensure alignment, drive execution, and deliver results. Subject-matter expertise is not required, but the ability to manage complex, multi- actor projects and push for delivery under tight timelines is essential.
This is a leadership role requiring cross-functional coordination, demanding deadline management, and an assertive, proactive mindset. You will also play a key role in the acquisition of new projects, working on proposal development and tender submissions.
What you’ll do as a Senior Product Manager:
Deeply understand our customers and our market
Distill complex problems and opportunities into clearly prioritized product goals and high-quality execution in collaboration with stakeholders
Deliver a high quality product addressing key customer pain points and creating opportunities for competitive advantage
Your focus will be bringing new capabilities to the SurikaS platform that help us better meet the needs of a wide range of customers: from small startups who value speed, to large companies with complex requirements.
Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap and help to define and shape SurikaS's product team culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role:
Have some prior experience working with cloud products, in cybersecurity products, and/or with data products and querying interfaces. You should feel comfortable helping customers distill insights out of their data.
Have 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record for delivering high-quality products to customers
Possess a customer-focused mindset, proactively reaching out to customers and prospects, while simultaneously partnering with go-to-market team
Ability to see how various products and features should fit together to serve different user groups, with the analytical skills to justify the approach being taken
Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration amongst your stakeholders
Have the ability to bring a product roadmap to life through consistent execution and project management
Excellent communication both written and verbal, to effectively communicate ideas and requirements to team members, stakeholders, and executives
Evidence of getting into the details to uphold a high standard of B2B design quality (UX and UI) and craftsmanship in your team’s work.
Conditions and selection process
In the role, you will travel to meet external project partners. We prioritize working form our office in Delft. The position is 60-100% depending on your availability and qualifications.
